Google Pixel 11 Pro XL charger: what wattage do you need?

Buy a 45W USB-C PPS charger whose PPS range reaches 21V for the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL: Google says that gets you up to 75% in about 30 minutes, and the phone is rated for PPS up to 21V / 2.5A (45W max). No charger in the box — only a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable. Wireless: Pixelsnap (Qi2.2) up to 25W.

Full answer

Google’s Pixel 11 Pro XL (2026) tech specs say: “Fast charging – up to 75% in about 30 minutes – using 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately”, with wired rates measured on Google’s 45W USB-C Charger. The safety & regulatory guide says the Pro XL’s charger must deliver between 7.5W and 45W “in order to achieve the maximum charging speed”, and lists 5V / 3A, 9V / 3A with USB PD and up to 21V / 2.5A for a USB PD 3.0 PPS adapter.

What to buy: a 45W or bigger USB-C PD charger whose maker documents PPS up to 21V. Many small 45W bricks list PPS only up to about 11V (3A) — they still charge the Pro XL, but the maker doesn’t show the 21V PPS range Google rates the phone for, so we don’t list them as the 75%-in-30-minutes answer. That is why this page currently shows one charger: the UGREEN 65W bundle, whose spec sheet lists PPS 3.3–21V / 3A. Google’s charging help also lists Google 30W / 45W / 67W chargers, any PPS adapter rated 30W or more, and other USB PD adapters rated 15W or more (slower). Pixel 11 or 11 Pro instead? They need only 30W PPS (11V / 3A): see the Pixel 11 charger page.

What’s in the box (no charger)

What’s in the Pixel 11 Pro XL box

Google lists Pixel 11 Pro XL, a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable (USB 2.0, 2nd gen) and a SIM tool. Google’s FAQ adds that the Pro XL does not come with a 45W USB-C Power Charger — you need to buy the wall charger.

PPS to 21V, 30W vs 45W, and wireless

Why the 21V PPS range matters on Pixel 11 Pro XL

Wired: Google’s spec line names a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher for the 75%-in-30-minutes figure, and the safety guide rates the Pro XL for PPS up to 21V / 2.5A (charger power up to 45W for max speed). A 30W PPS charger (11V / 3A) — the right answer for Pixel 11 and 11 Pro — still charges the Pro XL, just not at its top speed. A 65W charger is not faster than 45W on this phone; it just leaves headroom for a second device.

Wireless: Pixel 11 Pro XL has Pixelsnap magnets and Qi2.2-certified wireless charging up to 25W (Google). We don’t list a wireless charger price here yet.

Which cable

The right cable

Pixel 11 Pro XL charges over USB-C (USB Type-C 3.2 port). Google says to use a USB-C to USB-C cable — one (1 m, USB 2.0) is in the box, and the UGREEN bundle above adds two 3.3 ft 100W USB-C cables. A USB-A to USB-C cable charges slower (Google). The Apple 2 m cable card is a spare or longer USB-C to USB-C option; see the USB-C cable guide.
