45W USB-C PD / GaN charger
A 45W USB-C Power Delivery charger is the thin-laptop brick: HP’s Chromebook / thin-and-light class, and the adapter listed in some Dell XPS 13 manuals. It sits above Apple’s 30W Air cube and below the everyday 65W GaN pack.

HP recommends 45W USB-C for Chromebooks and thin/light machines (HP Chromebook 14, x360 14, Chromebook 11). Dell’s XPS 13 9370 and XPS 13 9310 manuals list a 45W USB Type-C adapter. Later XPS 13 units moved to 60W or 65W — check the exact model. HP’s USB-C PD writeup says a higher-watt USB-C charger is safe; the laptop draws what it needs. If the old brick says 45W and you want one GaN pack for laptop + phone, 65W is the step up.

What 45W means on a multi-port GaN brick
45W is the total ceiling unless the listing says otherwise. Anker Nano Charger (45W, Smart Display), model A121D, publishes 20V⎓2.25A (45W Max) on its USB-C port. UGREEN Nexode 45W 2-port (SKU 90572) is 45W max across two USB-C ports — plug the laptop into one port when you need the full rating. Cables for 45W can be 20V/2.25A (no 5A e-marker required for that PD contract). Still use a USB-C PD cable, not a USB-A charge-only lead.
