Apple’s 2024 14-inch MacBook Pro tech specs list which USB-C power adapter ships in the box by chip config, and state when the laptop is fast-charge capable with a 96W (or higher) USB-C Power Adapter. Included adapters (14-inch, M4 family, 2024)

Battery and Power on 121552 says base M4 is “Fast-charge capable with 96W USB-C Power Adapter.” On 121553, M4 Pro / M4 Max are “Fast-charge capable with 96W or higher USB-C Power Adapter.” That fast-charge class is separate from the 70W include on lower configs.
